Fun Ideas for Valentine’s Day
Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and instead of scrambling for fun and romantic ideas at the last minute this year, why not plan ahead and make the day one your significant other will never forget? And, when you come up with fun ideas for Valentine’s Day you’ll be the hero and earn “Brownie Points” for the rest of the year.
The last thing you want to do is go with the same old, same old. Great Valentine’s Day gifts like flowers and chocolates are nice, jewelry is even better, but year after year they lose some of their luster. Spice it up! When you make the night romantic the Valentine’s Day gifts mean so much more – make them mementos of a night not soon forgotten! Start off with a limo ride to your favorite restaurant, the place where you first met, the movie theater you went to on your first date – the special personal venues are endless. 
Show up in style in a beautifully appointed limousine and build up from there. Add flowers, chocolates, or jewelry along the way, toss in a little romantic music over the sound system, maybe some champagne and you’re off to a good start.
But the thought is what counts so why not go a little out of the box. Instead of a dozen roses, why not a bouquet of sweet smelling tropical flowers, artfully crafted wooden roses (which last so much longer) or even electroplated flowers (that’s right, metal-dipped flowers that will last a lifetime!) And for jewelry, unless your someone special is a stickler for diamonds, try pearls, they’re unique, come at a wide variety of price points, and “go” with almost anything from formal dress to casual. If not pearls, then perhaps a unique and colorful tourmaline (it’s only found two places in the United States – California and Maine).
